On July 26, 2024, I went to Sizzling Wok. I go there on a regular basis. This is top-notch cuisine. There are no surprises here, except for always friendly service, always greeted with smiles and the food is top-notch. There will be no disappointments here. Currently, this is our #1 go-to for Chinese-American fare.

The food is always great the pot stickers are perfect best Chinese in town, we eat here once a week and 99.9 percent is always just what we wanted , honey chicken is soo good

I'd love to come back here and eat on the inside! It is very well maintained (even the bathrooms!) and the interior is gorgeous. The decor really ties it all together. I was craving orange chicken specifically and my boyfriend wanted Chinese take out and this place stood out! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was also DELICIOUS. Will definitely make this a top choice for next time.

Hit sizzling wok is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Toledo. The interior is tidy, clean, and well maintained. The service is always friendly and usually fast. I have not had a meal I haven't liked. Both the beef and chicken options are delicious.

Decided to try this restaurant again after a break. Seems like possibly under new management or just new cooks. I didn't see the usual staff members I encountered in recent years. Placed two orders to go for Chicken Chop Suey. The meat was great- not just grated chicken but larger pieces of chicken along with a lot of bamboo shoots and other Chinese vegetables. The bamboo shoots and bean sprouts were rather bland though quality was good and fresh. It was very tasty. Just not super flavorful unless you added your own salt. Yet better less salty than too salty, I would definitely order again but with entrees that included pea pods and other mixed vegetables.

There are a lot of Chinese restaurants within a few miles of this place - Magic Wok (seriously, why bother?), China Town (absolutely filthy place, screaming parents/kids, phone customers get priority over folks in person, no A/C in summer, no heat in winter), Panda (cleanliness does matter... so do heat and A/C), Jing Chuan (can't take the attitude anymore, inconsistency, attitude, questionable bar tending skills, attitude, too expensive, attitude). Anyway, I stop here after work about once a month. They have good Cantonese food. Egg foo young is really good, fried rice is very good, soups are really good, etc. I've ordered Kung Pao chicken a few times and it's never spicy enough (no matter how I beg and plead for spicy), but the flavor is fine and it's a good choice. Again, this is more of an Americanized Cantonese place. The one thing that I don't care for are the egg rolls - waaaay too much 5 spice powder (almost tastes soapy). The place is extremely clean! Parking is great! Service is A+++! Prices have gone up, but it's still pretty reasonable. You won't go wrong if you stick to Cantonese stuff. They also have a full bar for those that imbibe, though I've never had anything here other than a beer.

I was having a difficult time financing a Chinese restaurant that was open for indoor dining when I stumbled across Hot Sizzling Wok. A welcoming staff and delicious choices keep me coming back. The food is always fresh and served hot. I am currently working my way through the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Combos are served with an crispy and delicious egg roll. On my most recent visit I tried the Pineapple Chicken but asked for some spice. I ordered MED hot but I think next time I will get HOT. So flavorful and fresh. The Empress Chicken was also very satisfying; I especially loved the brown mushrooms. They offer a cheat sheet if you want to know what sauces and or vegetables are included in each dish. Again excellent service and delicious fresh food; I highly recommend!
